Looking for experienced estimators. Must have 2-5 years experience in the roofing, metals, cladding or roofing service industrIes (commercial, industrial or institutional sectors).
- Estimating knowledge of various roofing system applications such as built up tar & gravel and mod-bit (asphalt, torch and cold applied). Single ply roofing, synthetic membrane knowledge an asset.
- 3-4+ year degree from a recognized architectural, engineering program, construction management, preferred
- Prepare accurate estimates and takeoffs of materials, labour and equipment for roofing projects based on tender drawings and specifications.
- Attend all site and tender meetings as required.
- Able to evaluate roof conditions accurately.
- Liase with building owners, consultants, general contractors and suppliers.
- Review contracts, quotations and CCDC documents.
